Basic "Learn to shoot" orientation

Texas License To Carry Class: See class description page for eligibility requirements.
Texas Residents: your Drivers License or identification card photo will be used. A Certificate of Completion is Provided for everyone that successfully completes the course. All fingerprints must be submitted through the DPS contractor L-1 Services.
NOT INCLUDED: handgun and ammunition for qualification, however we may have handguns you can use and ammunition you can purchase.
New License Course Length 4 to 6 hours (approx) Plus range instruction and qualification shooting. A renewal class is no longer required.

LEARN TO SHOOT: Two types of courses are available.

1. MOST REQUESTED COURSE
FIRST Steps Orientation--Firearm Instruction, Responsibility and Safety Training -- courses for Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun. They are designed to provide a hands-on introduction to firearm safety, handling, and shooting skills. these courses can be conducted one-on-one to meet your schedule. Each course lasts about four hours. We limit these courses to four students per class.
Cost: $75.00 per student. (Family and Group rates available)

2. COMPLETE COURSE
The Complete Basic Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun courses are each a full day class.
Date: Scheduled for individuals or groups on request.
Cost: for the one day course for an individual is $165.
Group rates available for two or more.

Basic Muzzleloading/Black Powder
this class includes Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun is a 10 hour course. it includes a lesson on how to clean a black powder firearm and an example of what you need to do it with.

Cost: $175.00 per person for the class. Family Rates Available.
If you are interested on only one Platform, (i.e. rifle) we may be able to offer a discount based on what you are interested in.

Metallic Cartridge Reloading, course length approximately 8 hours.

Home Firearm Safety:
This course is intended for the whole family. It covers safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition IN THE HOME as well as away from it. It includes a hands-on familiarization of handguns, rifles and shotguns. It will include the most common action types of each to insure the students know how to safely take control of the firearm, check it to make sure it is not loaded or unload it to make it safe if necessary. The course takes about four hours. No live fire is included in this course.
Cost: $75.00 per family.

Personal Protection in the Home
This course is designed for beginning to intermediate level pistol shooters. Participants must be experienced shooters to maximize what can be learned from this course. It will introduce the student to defensive shooting and teach basic defensive handgun skills. Course length is approximately 9 hours.

Basic Personal Protection Outside the Home.
THIS IS AN INTERMEDIATE LEVEL SHOOTING COURSE.
The course covers unique safety and legal issues that apply when a concealed handgun is carried in public, including legal and ethical ramifications when responding to a life threatening encounter, and the legal, moral, emotional and social aftermath of the use of deadly force outside the home.
The Course is PRESENTED IN TWO PARTS.
